This mindset shift will change everything

Since I was a teenager, I’ve been doing this ONE thing and it changed my life forever.

I’m going to warn you it is a little “controversial” how it came to me, but it worked! So I’m going to share it with you anyway!

I grew up in church and everyone use to wear these bracelets that said “WWJD?” (which stands for What Would Jesus Do?)

After awhile of always asking WWJD, a new question came to me.

“What would future me do?”

And I didn’t have an answer because I didn’t know her.

So I thought for a while, and this blurry and vague vision came to me. 

I knew she was a boss.

I knew she was successful.

I knew she looked sharp and was well dressed.

That’s about it.

Every time I was in trouble or had to make a hard decision, I would think. 

“What would future me do?”

I started to realize, she definitely wouldn’t be doing the things I was doing! 

So I’d quit right then, cold turkey. 

The best part is every time I let go of a habit that wasn’t aligned with “future me”, the vision of her got clearer.

Year after year, I focused on learning more about her, doing what I thought she would do, and I started to have the things that I thought she would have!

Turns out this whole process that I thought I made up, already existed and is called, “Be-Do-Have”.

When you focus on who you want to become, the actions become easier to do, and you don’t have to worry about how you are going to have the materials.

Having is the “cherry on top”. It's just a result of the person you’ve become.
