How to deal with haters and jealous people

Today, we are going to talk about how to deal with haters and jealous people.
I’m at a point in my life where if I even catch a whiff of jealousy or envy, I am cutting you off.
But it hasn't always been this way!
I remember when I was in college, I had to deal with some really bitter and jealous people!
College “friends”, bosses, boyfriends...
There was this common pattern I noticed.
I would go after opportunities and putting myself out there.
And people would talk so much sh*t.
“who do you think you are”
“you aren’t even all that”
“you think you’re better than me”
blah blah blah!
The ONLY reason I tolerated these people is because I needed them. I knew this was ALL going to be a stepping stone and that my time was going to come!
So if you feel like the people close to you are haters, and jealous of you, but you NEED them.
Here is how to deal with them like a BOSS:
Focus on becoming self-reliant.
People can feel when you need them. Envious and jealous people know the reason you put up with them is because you don’t have a choice. Work on getting more options AND becoming self-sufficient.
2. Keep it short, cute, and direct
If you know someone around you is negative but you have to deal with them. You do not have to be shady and ugly just because they are. Choose your words wisely and become selective and intentional with the information you share. You don’t owe ANYONE your life story. Get straight to the point, get in the conversation and get out.
3. Keep your distance
Just because someone has helped you in the past doesn't mean they have an all access pass to you the rest of your life. If someone is intentionally trying to sabotage you or makes you question your worth, they do not deserve your presence. Avoiding these negative people and get comfortable being alone. Separation is a part of the process and will prepare you for a BIG blessing if you use your time wisely.
