Why Most First Time Business Owners Fail

I would have become a millionaire ALOT sooner, if I would have focused on this one thing first…

I always wanted to be an entrepreneur.

I got my first taste of business and making my own money when I was selling bubblegum in middle school and learned how to flip $1 into $100.

I moved onto trying to sell a ton of other things and FAILED.

It took me 15 years of trying new products and new business ideas to FINALLY crack the code again…

Next hit, real estate.

I started my real estate journey in January 2022. By March 2022, we had already made over $55,000 (which was my annual salary at my job!!) Just to be sure, I continued working my job until July (even though we already made well over 6 figures).

In writing this blog for you, I realized there were A LOT of similarities that made me successful with selling gum and then selling ugly houses.

The main reason is: It had nothing to do with me and my “passion/creativity/interests”.

You do not need to be passionate about the product/service for you to be successful in business! You need to learn BUSINESS first!

When people are already looking for your product/service and you are the one in their face with it, that's all you need. This is basic supply and demand!

There is no convincing, because the customer is already sold!

If you want money and success right now, this is THE CHEAT CODE.

Don’t believe me? Get into this…

I have a friend that is WILDLY successful selling icees… frozen flavored ice!

The product is not unique, innovative, or creative and it doesn't have to be!!!!

Why? Because at concerts and events it’s hot and people want something to cool off.

Her business model is simple and that’s why she has been able to focus on growing her BUSINESS!

Start a business that sells things that other people want/need, not what you like.

This gives you the “creative freedom” to figure out how to market, source the products, secure contracts, and ultimately make sales very easily.

This one piece of advice would have made me soooo much money soooo much sooner.

So don’t be like me and take 15 years to realize this, sell something that people are already looking for!

Get the money first and THEN invest in your creative fun passions that can become profitable in the future!!

Let me know if this struck a nerve with you or if you liked it and want me to start sharing more business/money related content.
